- Dragons make good firelighters. This was Roherum trying to find the bright side after a dragon attack on a village. It didn't go down well.
- There aren't any virgins in Stamrexabury. Roherum tried to reassure the villagers here their habitation would be spared and showed why. He was wrong on both counts. The dragon concerned did manage to find someone who qualified and ate them.
- Dwarves are ideal miners because of their size. Someone tall and lanky would get in their own way as they tried to get the gold or other minerals out. There were complaints about this. Not from the dwarves but from those over 4' height (tall by Fairy Kingdom standards). They pointed out sizeist jokes go both ways (literally up and down) and they too are fed up with it.
Our goblin presenter "hero" at the Fairy News Network is legendary for his gaffes. A few of them are below and are all taken from his comments added to news items. He ignores all advice he shouldn't do this, he should let the news speak for itself, being totally convinced the Fairy Kingdom does want his comments. That he needs to guide the realm... Given everybody else, even the Queen, is not going to convince him otherwise, they let him get on with it but his choice of words at times has become legendary.

AuthorI'm Allison Symes and I write novels, short stories as well as some scripts and poems. I love setting my work in my magical world, the Fairy Kingdom, and my favourite character is Eileen, who believes hypocrisy is something that happens to other people without caring that statement is hypocritical in itself! Eileen is huge fun to write for and about. Archives
