I haven’t set the Kingdom at a particular time but there is a mediaeval hint given I’ve made the settlements mainly villages based on a square frame arrangement with a few larger towns.
The Kingdom pinches ideas from Earth they like and then adapt them to their usage.
It is also a great way of saving magical energy.
There are pubs, religious buildings and parks and gardens. The Palace park is the most renowned green space but there are smaller versions throughout the realm. The Fountain of Youth along with the lake that feeds it is the most renowned water feature.
There are forests, mountains, barren areas (made that way thanks to magical infighting,
nothing can stand too much magic going through it), and themed areas (like Nursery Rhyme
world where nursery rhymes are re-enacted, the Kingdom treasures things like this and re-enacting fairy tales like Cinderella is the nearest thing they’ve got to a Historical Re-Enactment Society).
