THE RULES OF MAGIC - 20
When Eileen visits, nobody is to get in her way either and it is highly recommended that all sprites take themselves down into tunnels to at least a depth of twenty feet below ground and stay there until she’s gone back to Britain. Paul, her son-in-law on Earth would dearly love to be able to do the same. FNN are to do their level best not to shove a microphone up Eileen’s nose the moment she gets back but if anyone is that stupid, the Kingdom will get to have a really good laugh as the offender flees over the nearets hills and dales.
Magic is not to be used in any circumstances whatsoever at the various sporting events held by the many villages and settlements throughout the realm. This has never stopped sprites from trying to get away with it. They have never succeeded, someone always spots what they’re up to but it is now the intention of the Queen and her Council to stop such nonsense at community events once and for all. The next sprite who tries cheating at these events is going to be hung upside down in treacle and left out for the birds to have a go at.
The Queen and her Council have the right to arrive unannounced in any Kingdom settlement and ask the inhabitants to produce their best spells. The Queen and her Council wish to ensure the very highest standards in the Kingdom’s schools so as well as inspecting them directly, the government feel impromptu visits to see the benefits of the education system at work in daily life are vitally important. The Queen and her Council undertake to cause minimal inconvenience. After all they just want to see magic being practised properly and then go to their next appointment.
The Queen and her Council intends, once they are certain the realm is safe from any external threat, that Hanastrew and her fairy squad should lead the inspection teams going into the educational establishments to ensure standards in practical and theory are the best and highest possible. The Queen and her Council believe in giving the educational bosses as much notice as possible, given at this stage it is likely to be some years before it can be taken for granted the Kingdom won’t face invasion again. So if there are standards that need improving, now is the time to get on and do so!
